No, I think you've summed everything up pretty well. When I look back on the day I still don't know how we managed to run the record so close, when you consider our poor times for Ken Oly, Wimbledon-Morden, High Barnet-Cockfosters, Fenchurch Street and the longish wait at Edgware Road for the H&C. I think at one stage we were 32 minutes down on schedule but we kept on clawing back bits of time with some very sexy changes, some of which we only made by the skin of our teeth (or perhaps a finger nail!)

We always had the seven minutes to play with form the start of the day and our route did have so generous amounts of time built in for some of the changes.

All in all it was a fun packed day full of the usual highs and lows. Sorry to everyone for sleeping through the alarm, I paid the price for working 50 hours in 4 days this week.
One day I shall return!

I just realised that the times for Children in Need are getting faster every year.

Sorry to hear about the desperately bad luck for Team Brown at the end - that must have been pretty damned galling for you all :(

Well done on a blinder of an effort there. What a shame to miss out on the record right at the last moment with the Heathrow loop.

Makes me think that sometimes the best place to start would be Heathrow.

As soon as you've rested and recovered, you'll be back again. :)

My very late summary of events

If we were riding through the alphabet then we arborted after T stations.

Now Straight to the high points.

Meeting more of you guys.
Completing some of the longer runs, all be it after a bit of complaining.
KFC at victoria after aborting (it was a Bonus Banquet for 1)
Andi's general manner - Including Olympia train driver incident
The two of them for putting up with me.

Some Low points

Aborting (Obvious)
All the delays
The ache for the last week

After all this I am now wanting to go again. Not soon though. Maybe Comic Relief, otherwise later next year.
