No, I think you've summed everything up pretty well. When I look back on the day I still don't know how we managed to run the record so close, when you consider our poor times for Ken Oly, Wimbledon-Morden, High Barnet-Cockfosters, Fenchurch Street and the longish wait at Edgware Road for the H&C. I think at one stage we were 32 minutes down on schedule but we kept on clawing back bits of time with some very sexy changes, some of which we only made by the skin of our teeth (or perhaps a finger nail!)Going Underground wrote:No doubt Soup Dragon may have other detials to add that I have missed or forgotten
We always had the seven minutes to play with form the start of the day and our route did have so generous amounts of time built in for some of the changes.
All in all it was a fun packed day full of the usual highs and lows. Sorry to everyone for sleeping through the alarm, I paid the price for working 50 hours in 4 days this week.
