Your Favourite Tube Line?

I can see the case for East London - ought of sheer strangeness, and the fact that it always seems a little pointless, giving it some comedy value.
But, it seems to be missing from the poll - as is Waterloo & City, which I can see a definite case for, as it's a close second behind Jubilee in my book.

Why is the ELL pointless? If I have to go into town and know its too late to get a space at North Greenwich I leave my car at New Cross Gate (and yes it is always there when I get back) and the ELL gets quickly with a couple of good places to change depending on which uni I have to go to. ELL would be second for me, and the tube won't be the same when it goes overground.

How it is shown on the map, along with the few places it actually goes to, it does actually seem like something of an excuse for a tube line. But, I can see that it has use for people from the area (particularly those trying to get out of Shadwell ). It is something of a minority line - but an enjoyable one none the less - and it will be a shame when it runs above ground.

Not even that, with such glamorous destinations as Whitechapel, Surrey Docks (Sic) and New Cross. They'd use the DLR.

i guess the point for the ELL is that all the stations are served in some other way. except rotherhithe and wapping, which have been threatened with closure many times for being under-used, and surrey quays, which is near enough to canada water or south bermondsey. also, i'm sure it must be easier to change to the jubilee line at london bridge from new cross (gate) than at canada water...

I notice how no-one has made the case for the awesome Jubilee Line.

I find this line to be absolutely outstanding for a number of reasons.

1) I rarely have delays on the Jubilee Line.
2) The carriages are very modern and relatively clean.
3) The announcements have the most amusing voice of any line.
4) The acceleration/deceleration noise for the EMU is without parallel.
5) It gets me home.
6) The architecture in many of the eastern stations is mind-boggling.
7) The commuters are always very generous during RAG and you can shout down the carriage quite easily.[/b]
