As Dr Who did a poll on your most hated line I’ve done one for your favourite line

It has to be the Piccadilly Line for me because I like the Colour, The tube stock, The Stations especially Hatton Cross where we start all are tube challenges from, the smell, the sounds, The loop round Heathrow and everything else. I just love it. :D

metropolitan for me. i like how it's systematic and complicated, and the fact that all tube challenges start there at 5.30am, i'm forever intrigued by the fact that it has coat hooks, the seats are grand, and i just prefer it to the H&C and circle in central london because i like the trains, and they never seem to be absolutely packed. when i went to college in euston square i used to catch the circopolitan from farringdon, and always preferred it when an A-stock turned up.

District because it has the best station Fulham Broadway where the best football team play. It has two different tube stocks running on it and it looks good on the map.

Yay, some positivity, and a topic less likely to deteriorate into 'Worst Smelling Line' :P
Interesting tastes exhibited here so far - surely I'm not the only fan of the smooth space age line, with its comparative reliability, comfiest trains, humorous announcements and acceleration noises! The Jubilee line of love(and what else) for me :D
The DLR goes to Lewisham. The question is, why?

I like the Piccadilly Line because of it's style and history and appearance. In my opinion, some of it has the best examples of the line's early history and is just interesting......and......it's the best smelling line :D

Its the Met for me too. A stock, nice big trains with proper seats, fast Amerhams, and the idea of a long journey (by tube standards) out of London.

Definately Victoria, for all the cross platforms, and the stops all being in useful places.

The Met has the bonus of seat heaters :D little heaters under the seats for when it's cold. I'll have to deliberate on my favourite though.

I also love the District and the Met and lines.
I like the D78 & A stock and the how the networks look on the map with all those stations

A Stock is the best :D and the oldest on the network (I think?)

Victoria for me... fast, relatively reliable and good cross-platform interchanges. It does get packed obviously, but well.

It's the Circle line for me. The way it trundles around, battling with all the other lines for a little space of its own ... its tenacity in the face of adversity ... and the feeling of achievement on having used the line successfully.

You haven't really used the Tube properly unless you've taken the Circle line.

District line for me. It has a charm and character all of it's own and I think it also benefits from not being sub-surface......

Is also has some very interesting and different stations around the network and of course it stops as Upton Park :D
