Photo Quizzes: Anyone wonder how they're doing?
I have managed to put together a table up to and including Quiz 38, from a backup I had of the table. Hopefully when my laptop comes back I can upload it properly to jonnylyon.net/tubechallenge but for now here it is in screenshot format:

You should make a note of how many rounds each participant has entered (if that information is available), to be able to calculate a percent correct column - although ranking by points is the way to go, it would be interesting to see.
For example, I have just entered my first round, and I'm very confident I've got it right, so if and when you upload & update the table, I will be right down the bottom with one point, with no differentiation between me and someone who has entered forty times but only managed one correct answer!
Good work though.

This would overestimate how well I've done. There are several of these that have completely defeated me (High Barnet, Canada Water, East Ham, Pontoon Dock, Aldgate East, Hammersmith) to the extent that I've not had an answer to submit at all. These have beaten me just as comprehensively as those where I gave a wrong answer. You should make a note of how many rounds each participant has entered (if that information is available), to be able to calculate a percent correct column

That would make entering with a wrong answer worse than not entering at all though?
I have data of who has answered correctly each time, but am not given data for those who answer incorrectly.
I think this is the best way of doing it.

I really should enter more of these. I know the last two but haven't sent a PM.

In my unbiased opinion keep things exactly as they areRoot wrote:You should make a note of how many rounds each participant has entered (if that information is available), to be able to calculate a percent correct column.

Thirded... and if you remember we did debate this when we first started the photo quiz and decided to go for the straightforward 1 point for each correct Answer. Perhaps what we should do is reset the scores after a certain number of quizzes, say 50, to giv newcomers a chance.
One day I shall return!

Further to my previous post, I thought maybe we could award first, second and third place "medals" to players corresponding to how well they do in each "season", so their efforts and achievements are not forgotten during subsequent seasons.
