I am in the mood for some challenging, get my tally started for the year. So I am thinking about trying to re-take my crown on the new DLR formation (with Langdon Park)

Yes well to confirm Going Underground last post me mr Finland and Tangy posted a time of 1h47m35secs which we presume is the new record as starkey time for 38 is only 40 secs better than that and no one has posted a 39 time of which we are aware better?
We actually did 2 attempts first one starting at Lewisham around 1pm things started well bright sunshine lovely weather until about 13 mins in cant remember what station it was but we had the most unluckiest of times 13.13.13 as we left thought that was spooky and bound to be bad luck how little did we know how true that would be.Got into Stratford and pegged it down to the jubilee line had a 4 min wait here so black magic was at work.
Went down to King george v first even though a Beckton train came in first i disagreed with Tangy on this one maybe i was right judging on what happens next.We run down the road to the bus stop and joy of joys the bus 474 was there 1 stop before got our breath back and thought hang on why are we still standing here 2 mins later it turns out the bus had broken down at that stop. All the passengers got off and we thought damn we then ran up the road across the bridge to Gallions reach just as we approach we see the train go over the bridge we tried but couldnt make the train personally i think that run is the worse on any challenge. So we abandoned that attempt there knowing it was impossible had a discussion and decided to reverse the route so transfered over to the other platform to the bank.
2nd Attempt Started at bank at 14.55 up to Shadwell first connection instant train on platform walked over got it double back at Tower Gateway and down to Beckton and on to Gallions Reach knew we had 10 mins to make connection it was a tiring run and we made it just perfect for the train maybe a min wait at king george v.
up to Canning town and the change to the Jubilee we couldnt have planned it better i think we were off in 1 min dead up to Stratford the wait here at Lewisham was 9 mins we knew we just missed a train but we if we had got it we have been looking at a time of 1.38 but the train seemed to be very quick and rolled into Lewisham at 16.43.
