The Starkey/Brown partnership will be out there doing our thing again on 5th April.......
We are hoping that some live updates will be posted here, we just need to persuade K9 to action for us......
K9 is kindly doing a food drop for us so there may be a 3 - 4 hours gap in information from early afternoon onwards......
Just hope my dodgy back and knees can last the day......

Good luck mate! Hope you make it. Will this be the same route as last time or have you managed to streamline it even more?
You can say that about the knee again though - some colleagues and I are planning a run for early June, and my knee is going to be a huge deciding factor!

Cheers for that.....
One or two little tweeks in our route from last time and we have 4 or 5 different options of how we may do things on the day.....

First report from Starkey/Brown, lost 5 minutes at Uxbridge due to train pulling out on reaching there, but they still have 1 hour in hand. W eather good but a bit chilly.
Ahaha, I think you may have divulged a vital clue there!
Uxbridge by 7:25, and wasn't there some talk about the Harrow run being overrated a week or so back? I guess that means they've headed from Harrow straight to Uxbridge - but then how do you pick off both the southbound Central and Piccadilly lines without doubling back horribly? Hmm, interesting...
(edit) Doh, the timestamps here are an hour off aren't they? All bets are off then...
"This train is for King George the Fifth. So you can't go on it."
Latest update. Starkey/Brown at present heading for Upminster they have 25 mins to spare before record pace. Food drop went according to plan.
Time is now 1745
Just managed to get hold of an internet connection. Looking good so far! I'm just contemplating a new attempt... We'll see. Anyway, best of luck for the finish!

Thank you very much for your good wishes but as you can see they have just aborted the attempt, i'm sure they will post why later either tonight or tomorrow. The decision was taken for a good reason, so its good night from K9.
Evening all, I've just got home to Lightwater and stopped the clock running when I arrived here. 18h 22m 59s.
I arrived at Hatton Cross having visited 257 stations (I think!) in a time of of 17h 55m 46s. Not sure what time Kevin, Jamie and John got home as we all took different routes. Cheers Antony
