Underground Masker & Station Master's Donation Station

On the 19th may, when I attended the Tube Challenge meetup, Ant and I were inspired by Ollie's kindhearted Challenge attempt in aid of the Mind charity.

For a while now we have been wanting to to something in aid of a Cancer charity in memory of my Auntie Helen, who passed away last year. It was a sad, premature loss for my family. Anthony and Adham will be running hell for leather on the 13th June 2006, hoping to beat the current record and raise lots of money for Cancer Research UK (charity chosen by my parents - find out more at http://www.crc.org.uk).

A friend of mine suggested "Mind The Gap" for my attempt, but I thought it too obvious.

I often think how, if people could spare just £1 each to the cause, the total would soon be gained. Heck, it's almost like Geoff's 50p for de iPod!

I had that idea on numerous occasions when I was little and coveting things. I think I even suggested it to my mum once, that, if I asked people for say, a pound each, I would soon have enough to buy X. Alas, she told me it was a silly idea. Big up the respect for Geoff actually doing it though! I'd never have thought it possible.
