Monopoly Tube Challenge
Is it possible for the monopoly board to be completed by tube?.
I understand that many points on the board (Miss Ford) are not actual tube stations, but part of the challenge could be that you have to aave your picture taken by a street sign showing the actual name.
Just a thought anyway

Euston Road should really be Warren Street, as that used to be called Euston Road and there is still a sign on the wall showing that name. That should actually count as having done Euston Road, methinks.
Jail could be East Acton for Wormwood Scrubs, surely the most famous London prison?
I love this idea.

I have no problem with that - saves on database space.Sam wrote:scrxisi wrote:Yes we have, but it was never done. Let do it, lets do it!

Re: Monopoly Tube Challenge
I know it has 'tube' in its title, but surely we should actually visit Fenchurch Street for Fenchurch Street?
Attempts: 2 (17h38m, 238 stations) (unknown, 200 stations); Completions: 0; GWR: 0; PBs: 0.

Re: Monopoly Tube Challenge
Free Parking could be Hounslow West because the station car park was free on a Sunday until about a year ago.
For Water Works, you could choose between Gallions Reach (DLR) or Belvedere (NR) which are the nearest the Northern and Southern ends of the metropolitan sewer system. But to keep things on the Tube, West Ham (nearest to Abbey Mills Pumping Station) is probably the best bet.
Also, it would open up the game to more outlying areas rather than everything being in Zones 1-2.

Re: Monopoly Tube Challenge
I agree that we should open up for travel zones on all forms of transport and not just the tube....
