Side effects

As a side effect from my half week in London I'd like to report 2 challenge attempts:

1) All Lines Challenge - worst time: I did my first Underground trip in July 1969. At 16.06 yesterday (March 22nd) my very first W&C line trip began. That's a total of roughly 36.7 years. Worst recorded ever?

2) W&C Line surf: My friend Lars Andersson did the whole journey from Waterloo to Bank standing up without support of any kind - in general confirming to the rules outlined for this challenge (outlined elsewhere at this forum, I believe). And this he did in his VERY FIRST W&C ride!

Sadly the W&C has many temporary speed restrictions at the moment, and is not the rough ride that it was a few years ago.
