30th July is good for me, in fact whole of July is wide open...
So I am guessing that 8th June will be Z1 which is quite late in the year I notice the usual end of May bank holiday has been put back to June 4th in 2012...

Yes indeed, it's all to do with The Queens Diamond Jubilee, we get an extra long weekend with Tuesday 5th June also being a public holiday.

BERC Update....
I might move Round 1 to the 23rd July, this is because 30th July clashes with the proposed date for the Worthing Darts Open. Please can anyone let me know if they purchased advance rail tickets already for the 30th July?

23 July is worse for me, but as I probably wouldn't have been able (though might have) to attend the one on 30 July either it doesn't really matter :)

Please see the first post in this thread for the finalised dates for the R15 chamionship.

The points scoring system will remain the same for the 2011/12 season.
12-10-8-7-6-5-4-3-2-1
If you compete in all 6 rounds, then your lowest scoring round is deducted.
The maximum score is therefore 60 points. In the event of competitors being tied the final placings will be decided on the number of round wins, if still tied the number of 2nd place finishes and so forth will be taken into account.

If there are any suggestions for round twists please feel free to discuss within this thread. One idea I've floated is that you could pick one round where you get the stations notified in advance, thus having an advantage over the rest of the field.

Looking forward to another good season... the benchmark is 50/51 points as previous winners Peter Smyth and Al Brown have demonstrated.

I would like to try the "two envelopes" twist and also a "Zone 3" inclusion...

Guessing that the opening round will be a "straight" R15?

How about:

Anti zone 1 round? (Only zone 2+3 stations)

Royal challenge? (only stations with "royal" name. e.g. Victoria, Royal Oak, King George V, Regent’s Park…)

True tube? (only stations that are actually underground)

Got to have the NLL in as one twist and/or the DLR.

This is a Central line train to "Woodford via Hainault"- sadly, not no more!
