Re: Drinking Alphabet Challenge
I remember meeting someone at my first Z1 challenge (last year) who had done the Alphabet drinking game. I believe they said they were very inebriated by the end, and that some stations are rubbish for finding a pub nearby!
Held some Alternative Challenge records for a long time.
Doesn't any more.

I wouldn't say "inebriated", but tired is definately an appropriate word.
Good luck

Re: Drinking Alphabet Challenge
Before the ban on drinking on the tube we hypothesised a zone 1 drinking challenge, which involved a bottle of vodka and a shot at each zone 1 station.
Until it was pointed out that this might actually lead to liver failure and possible death.

Indeed a very good pub in Paddington station. The Mad Bishop and Bear. Superb Fullers beers etc.

Out of interest, what happened to the other letters (with the obvious exclusions of j, x, y & z)palkanetoijala31 wrote:a,c,e,g,i,l,n,p,r,t,v or w
I see that: b, d, f, h, k, m, o, q, s & u are missing
