Or perhaps the R15 drinking challenge, you have to exit at each station drawn, find a pub, down a half then continue to the next station.
One day I shall return!

I'd last about 3 stations before forfeiting and then drinking the next 6.5 pints in there so I don't have to leave :D

Afraid I won't now be able to attend the R15 on 11th July. So you all have a chance to get a head start on me in the championship!

According to the newsgroup uk.transport.london, and (the very well hidden) tube weekend works page http://www.tfl.gov.uk/tfl/livetravelnew ... ekend.html, they're running teacup Circle line service at weekends (27-28th and 4th-5th at least) as a test before they introduce it fully later this year.
Probably won't impact an R15 much, might cause some unwanted delays on the SSL though.

Yes indeed, these judgements have been fully vetted and have the BERC's rubber stamp of approval.

We need to confirm a date for the Aldwych R15 soon. The suggestion was 26th Sept as this is nearest to the anniversary of closure, however the engineering works that day are pretty bad so maybe the 19th would be better?

19TH SEPT
Whitechapel - Upney (Dist/H&C)
Waterloo - Stanmore (Jub)

26TH SEPT
Kings Cross - Moorgate (Circle)
Edgware Rd - Barking (H&C)
Harrow-on-the-Hill - Aldgate (Met)
Waterloo - Stanmore (Jub)
Walthamstow - Brixton (Vic)

3RD OCT
Waterloo - Stanmore (Jub)
Harrow-on-the-Hill - Aldgate (Met)
Walthamstow - Brixton (Vic)

I can make 19th and 26th. Although the engineering works on the 26th look quite bad, they could make it more interesting. There are 12 stations that cannot be visited on the 26th. However, on the 19th the situation isn't much better with 9 closed stations. I guess it will be harder to get to the stations that are open on the 26th however... this might make things more interesting, but it could also make for a dull challenge where we end up following each other around.

I make it 13 closed on the 26th and 11 or 12 closed on the 19th:

26th
1. Farringdon
2. Barbican
3. Moorgate
4. Highbury & Islington
5. Pimlico
6. Vauxhall
7. St John's Wood
8. Swiss Cottage
9. Finchley Road
10. West Hampstead
11. Kilburn
12. Willesden Green
13. Marble Arch

19th
1. St John's Wood
2. Swiss Cottage
3. West Hampstead
4. Kilburn
5. Willesden Green
6. Warren Street
7. Marble Arch
8. Whitechapel
9. Stepney Green
10. Bow Road
11. Bromley by Bow
12. Holloway Road (partially closed Eastbound between 1500 and 1600)
