Yes 100% you can leave Zone 1 & 2, if you think it would help you could even venturne into Zone 4.

I am somewhat tempted if someone will let me join their team for this and can arrange to stay down in central London the night before and evening after.
(Please note: I don't run fast/much at all)

I've had a look at my finances and going to have to do this as an out-and-back from Brum in a day
Earliest I can get to Marylebone is 09:33 and Journey Planner estimates 30 mins to East Putney (if thats still the starting station)
Is the starting time still scheduled for 10:00?

Are you going by train? Try National Express or Megabus. NE gets me to victoria an hour before the first train does from Cardiff.

I would prefer a slightly later start than 1000 as well. Maybe 1030 or 1100?

Back on correct topic does anyone have a semblance of a route yet
I have looked at this a couple of times and just gave up after 10 mins.....

I will need to sit down next week when I have some spare time and come up with something.... This is more difficult that planning a full network......
Oh and time wise I am fine with a later start, whatever suits the majority.......

I have a couple of routes both starting at East Putney and finishing at the same place as each other, which both seem to take the same amount of time
A later start time might suit me as well - the girlfriend has planned a very late Halloween party for the night before.
Finally, I would suggest Megabus as being superior to National Express (The departure point in Birmingham for Megabus is Snow Hill Queensway), but then I'm biased

Tickets available at time of writing for £9.50 return

I've pretty much decided to head north from East Putney
I think there will be a wide variety of routes for this one - there are several plausible finishing stations.

I am very happy to consider a later starting time for this challenge, is everyone happy if we shift to 11:00 am?
