The only station in Z1 is the first one we start from, thereafter you have to leave Z1 and cannot re-enter Z1 until the challenge is complete. Also include the 4 hour limit and if a bastard set of stations come out you attempt to visit as many as possible within the 4 hour window.
Would you include the DLR and Overground?

I think that for any twist that includes Zone 3 then the 4 hour window should not be applied or at least say an extension to 5 hours... It would be pointless having 15 stations if time constraints don't make it possible to visit some of them....

Hang on, what about buses?

Would you be able to use a bus through zone 1?

And would you be allowed to visit stations on the border of Zone 1? (Earl's Court etc.)

No that would normally be a seperate twist for another round.

I can't imagine a bus back into Z1 would be of much use, but for the sake of arguement I will say it's allowed.
The rule is that you can't use any form of rail within Z1 after you have entered Z2. Stations which are in Z1/2 are okay, so yes you could visit Earls Court.

Remember, remember the 5th November?

Just don't take any gunpowder to Westminster or you might end up at the Tower Hill!

I believe that the date will have a factor on an aspect of this round

I'm up for that, so long as we don't do any "Re-Creations" of the famous, prevented event. :(

Someone is patrolling Westminster and if they spot any challenger then they must escort him/her/them to Tower Hill, whereupon they are held for 15 minutes.

You would be held there a lot longer than 15 mins since there's no Circle or District from Embankment to Aldgate East this Saturday! :D

It is this Saturday?

In that case, one must be escorted along the following route to Aldgate (assuming that none of these stations come out)

Westminster  Green Park  Piccadilly Circus  Oxford Circus  Tottenham Court Road  Holborn  Russell Square  King's Cross St. Pancras  Farringdon  Barbican  Moorgate  Liverpool Street  Aldgate.

I'm so mean  by diverting you via Piccadilly Circus, Oxford Circus AND King's Cross aren't I?

Why Aldgate? Well, that's the closest open station!

This got me thinking - has there ever been a Random 15 where closed stations still have to be visited? Not by tube train, obviously, but by visiting the outside of the station. I think it'd be a fun and completely different challenge to have to visit Mansion House, for example, when there is no service between Embankment and Aldgate East. It would benefit those who have a good knowledge of London above ground as well as below it, and obviously those know the bus services well. It might take a while though!
