Whoever prints off the stations could be accused of doing this, whatever system you use. It's all down to trust really and I personally would get no pleasure from cheating and taking a sneaky peek in advance. If people take it that seriously then the only way to be sure would be to ask someone not taking part to turn up with the sealed envelopes, but I think that's taking things to far.

In the past I always asked one of my staff to print off the file for me so I didn't get to see.

Yes please, it's nice for each competitor/team to have their own copy as with previous R15's.
If Sarah is happy to run-off 10 copies and place in envelopes I would think that would be sufficient. Will that be okay?

Did I mention that I'll be poking my head around the corner for tomorrow's events? If I did, then this is a reiteration; if not, then I will be :)

The Scrivens / Brown pairing decided to work around the couple of footie matches so our route was;

H & C Hammersmith
Run to Hammesmith Picc Line
Earls Court (long wait)
E. Putney
Earls Court (longish wait)
HSK where we just caught a circle by the skin of our teeth
NHG
Shepherds Bush
Run Shepherds Bush Overground
Willesden Junction (very long wait for overground no Bakerloo in sight  )
Kensal Green
Run Kensal Rise Overground
Brondesbury
Run Kilburn
Willesden Green
Bus  Golders Green
Warren Street
Run to Euston Sq
Liverpool St
Oxford Circus
Brixton

As ever the usual combo of buses / running / overground.... :)

Well, like the rest, we went from WOOD LANE to HAMMERSMITH, but lost the rest of them between the H&C and Picc stations - people in the way of two runners, then traffic issues between the two stations. Sill, we Districted it to Earl's Court, where we caught up with the rest, borrowing a Brown's A-Z to check out a strategm for later on, and joining the rest on a District Line to EAST PUTNEY. We stayed on to Wimbledon, then SWTd it to Vauxhall, to take the Victoria Line to BRIXTON and double-backed (on the same train) to Stockwell.

It was while on the SWT train that we realised the reason why all the rest alighted at East Putney, but ne'er mind...

The Northern Line was our next service, as far as MOORGATE - a cross platform train at Stockwell with, what I have been told is known in the trade as a 'sexy change', was scuppered slightly by a long, and slightly pointless-seeming wait at Oval - where we then went out to LIVERPOOL STREET and returned to Euston Square (can't recall whether it was H&C or Circle) via FARRINGDON for the run to WARREN STREET.

Getting the correct Northern Line branch for HAMPSTEAD was a bonus... meant we didn't have to change at CAMDEN TOWN, and just pass through. Unfortunately, our plan up this part rested on the fact that we were hoping for a bus connection between Hampstead and either West Hampstead or, even better, Willesden Green. Unfortunately, such was not possible, so we headed down towards Finchley Road, possibly getting lost on route, and as a bus came up as we were at a bus stop, we decided to catch that. By this time, we had lost the will to run having realised we'd lost anyway with the SWT, and now this, fiasco, so we didn't. We wound up at Swiss Cottage, and took the Jubilee to WILLESDEN GREEN, double-backed to West Hampstead, to take the Overground to Willesden Junction.

The original plan was to take the Bakerloo to Kensal Green and back, Overground it to Shepherds Bush, and Central into the City again. However, given the timetable of the Overground, we took the Bakerloo to KENSAL GREEN, continued into Paddington where we spent far too long waiting for a Circle to take us to NOTTING HILL GATE where we changed to a Central to SHEPHERD'S BUSH, double-backed to HOLBURN.

Anyway... I think that's right... I left the route planning to Jack... (can I say that before this R15, I didn't know Jack? :p)

What I thought was a good route in my mind obviously wasn't very good!

I, like all the other teams headed south to H'smith (H&C). I then did a cross platform connection onto a train waiting to head back north (after 6 minutes) back up to Wood Lnae where I ran the short way to White City and got on a train (from the centre road) one stop to SHEP. BUSH. I got bit bogged down here with a crowd of people trying to exit the station but knew I had time to get on the 1342 NLL.

I took the NLL to West Brompton and changing to the District onwards to EAST PUTNEY. It was here where I could of run to Putney Central and took SWT to Vauxhall or head up to NHG. I chose the latter with a 5 minute wait!

Up through NHG to Padd where I changed to the Bakerloo (which was still mashed) as all I got on the display was Queen's Park 3min, Queens Park 10min, Queen's Park 13min! Took the first of these up to Queen's Park (terminating in the southbound platform)! It was a further 8 minutes before I could get a train to Willesden Junction through KENSAL GREEN. This being the NLL from Euston.

Ran up to high level at Willesden to get the 1459 to West Hampstead (but departed 1504 due to late running crew change). It was only when the train just pulled away from Brondesbury that I thought to myself "Plonker, I should of ran to Kilburn!"

Good cross paltform change at WILL. GREEN (less than a minute) down to Finchley Road for the daunting uphill run to Hampstead. Just as I exited the station a 13 drove past, so I gave chase up the bus lane after it to the next stop! Got off two stops later outside the NLL station to start the run up the hill towards HAMPSTEAD.

I was hoping for a direct ChX train and it was, so avoided the change at CAMDEN to WARREN ST. Usual short run to Euston Square where I just missed a Circle but a H&C was right behind, boarded this via FARRINGDON and MOORGATE to LIV ST. From here it was a good change onto the Central Line via HOLBORN to Oxford Circus then to BRIXTON to finish.

I wonder what would of happened If I would of ran to Putney Central and took SWT to Vauxhall....

This is a Central line train to "Woodford via Hainault"- sadly, not no more!
