Re: Top times: Full Network Challenge
With apologies for the delay, due to me not being near a computer when on holiday, the top times list on the first page is now updated with the new record (which has not yet been ratified by Guinness).

Christian Wolmar's time has been removed from the list, as I have now learned that it separately failed to meet two of criteria normally considered necessary to be considered a valid completion.Nigel wrote:Top times updated with the prospective Mayoral candidate's recent completion.

Schoolboy error. How can he be taken seriously in his bid to be mayor if he can't be bothered to read the rules of the record attempt properly?

Is your new FNC record awaiting adjudication by Guinness World Records or have you not submitted it? Almost 30mins off our time is some achievement.

Our record attempt initially got rejected by Guinness World Records on the basis that we didn't take a photo to correspond with every single logbook entry, which is a ludicrous requirement on their behalf, which has never been requested on any attempt that I have previously made. As such an appeal has been made to GWR, and we are awaiting the result of this appeal (although to be honest I don't expect them to change their mind). I will be pretty gutted if the appeal doesn't succeed though!
Hope that clarifies the situation,
Steve

All London buses: 23 hours 25 minutes (with Adham, David, Josh and Tangy)
Holds some alternative challenge records. Not sure which ones.
20½ Random 15 challenges: 01:58:48 best
That guy who runs those Twitter polls about tube stations and London Boroughs.

I've checked with Harry. Olympia was visited by Overground (not District line), so unfortunately does not qualify for Top Times list. The Orange One wrote:https://www.twitter.com/harrylawrence11 ... 0191158272
