I'm going to use the Empire State Building comparison again.
Even due to Health and Safety, they've got NO excuse for that kind of procrastination.
1930: Excavation of the site where the Empire State Building would stand begins on January 22nd.
1930: On March 17, construction of the Empire State Building began. Under the direction of architects Shreve, Lamb & Harmon Associates, and a peak labor force of 3,000 men, framework rose at a rate of 4 ½ stories per week.
1930: The masonry work for the building, which began in June of the same year, is completed on November 13.
1931: On May 1st, President Hoover presses a button in Washington, D.C. officially opening and turning on the Empire State Building's lights.
Read that! The masonry took six months to complete! From nothing to skyscraper in nine months!

Can anyone confirm the total number of stations in Zone 1, including both Paddingtons and Edgware Roads? Also is there an alphabetical list of these anywhere, as is my first attempt I dont want to miss any

I think this is it - I'd had them on an Excel spreadsheet when vaguely working out a Z1 challenge a while back. Don't blame me if they're not all there though, as neither am I a lot of the time....

OK I dont blame you
But I reckon you must be a few short as I tried to work it out from Zone 1 map and I made it 62, but according to Hakan he visited 64 stations last year

Ok, well it doth appear that I fuckethed up.
Here's a list just created and alphabeticised, using the time-honoured method of physically "rubbing out" each station using Windows Paint. For the two stations that there are two each of, I've just marked the H+C version so it doesn't look all messy, like. 64 in total. God knows how I somehow thought that other list was definitive. I'll be launching an enquiry.

Confirmed! The list is indeed complete.
This year ANY station from this list, except Vauxhall and St. James's Park, may be drawn from the hat as starting station! Vauxhall was used in -04 and St. James's Park in -05 and we don't like repeats.

Excellent, no repeats or else I will be following the winning Hakan route of 2005 from St James to Vauxhall

I was trying to find them today (for some Zone 1 tips
