if they DID take out MHE too (they won't), sub 16-hour times would be possible.
Just because TfL are reducing the service doesn't necessary mean the service will be stopped.
Take Aldwych for example, there where plans to close the station as early as 1929. It also kept its "peak hour only" service for more than 30 years before it closed in 1994.
Also, Aldwych didn't close due to low usage but due to unsafe lifts.

Ken O; Except that these really are austere times now, and if they can save money here - they will! LU really do mean it when they see Overground service running through Olympia, and wonder why have an annoying shuttle that goes back that the Olympia service which is a routing space through Earls' Court, and drivers that could be spare/used elsewhere, etc ... it's becoming an overhead they don't want to run anymore. Thus, sticking to my prediction they will wind down services altogether at somepoint, and definitely before Watford closes/Croxley Link opens!
carefull though they might decide to make it a bus link between the two like t4 was then if they say u still have to visit it that be a thorn in a side!.
The TfL Journey Planner has recently been extended to include dates up until the December 2012 timetable change. However, I can find no dates after June when there appears to be an Olympia Exhibition service running. Not even for the British Beer Festival on 7-11 August, which this year is at Olympia rather than Earl's Court because of Earl's Court being used for Olympic Volleyball. Does this mean that TfL have given up on running Exhibition services, or is it just they've not scheduled them into Journey planner yet?
The latter I suspect, I seem to recall I checked previously and found an expo service not in JP but a week later it was

TLF works page does suggest there are closures every weekend after Paralympics finish (9th Sept) for a couple of months, but we assumed it would be OK during the week.
At least we hope so, as our charity attempt is scheduled for 27th Sept!
We have just gone for an early Olympia trains so we don't have to worry about the exhibition days.
Of course we are just after a completion rather than a fast time.
