I also completed the challenge this day, fourth time lucky.
On my own, starting on the first Amersham train, missing the connection to Chesham (how happy I was), and finishing at Heathrow 5 in 18 hours 38 minutes.
The district line wasn't too bad (well, I had a twenty minute wait at Ealing Broadway... but other than that.)
