Re: Random 15 Championship 11/12 - Round 2 - 17th September
I started by going down to Stockwell with Myles/Glenn and Kevin, then doubling back to Vauxhall. My original plan was to get the Overground from Clapham J - West Brompton but I saw it leave as we were approaching so I decided to stay on the train. I thought about running Kew Bridge - Gunnersbury but decided to stay on to Brentford and run to Northfields. Then a 30 second tube ride to South Ealing and I was off again on foot to Ealing Broadway. I was hoping to see a bus along the way but nothing came. Luckily it didn't matter as I just made a District. Just missed a train at Hammersmith (9 min wait) then up to Royal Oak for the traditional run.
Up to Harlesden, very quick double-back to Willesden J and 3 min wait for the Overground. I thought about the Finchley Rd - Hampstead trek, but there was a Thameslink due so I caught that from West Hampstead to Hendon. Run to Hendon Central, then in to Camden Town and back up to East Finchley. Double-back to Archway then bus to Holloway Road, up to Finsbury Park, Walthamstow Central. Finally I caught the NXEA train to Bethnal Green NR, run to Bethnal Green tube to finish at Mile End.
