Well u kno our phone numbers but we are no where near hammersmith technically at that time.
However, this is London and the tube so we won't be a million miles away ;)

I'm not really up for the whole day. But like jamesthegill, I might come and join you for 'support' at some point along the way

With just over 3 weeks to go we need to finalise a few details.

1) Route finish decision
Finish at Chesham at predicted time of 23:21 hours which means arriving at Amersham on Met line at 22:55:36 and then departing on Chiltern service at 22:56
Or
Finish at Amersham at predicted time of 23:25 hours
We would need to agree on this so we can decide where to leave the cars, or a safer scenario maybe for cars to be left at both Chesham and Amersham so at least we have means of transport between the two should we have a later finish.

2) GWR formalities
The route has some scope for "tweaking" and I have a few options up my sleeve also the Met Line may not be running to timetable later in the day which could aid our finish. So we might as well go through the process as they say "you never know" :D
I am happy to do the logging and I know that nozzacook (Damo) also likes to log as well which is useful to have 2 people on as it is very easy to miss the door times. If anyone can step forward and volunteer for the following that would be good :)

Witness statements (proper form with comic relief logo would be good if someone has the I.T. skills)
Photographs
Stop watch operator
Trains numbers
Support during the day (anyone that may be able to get along that is not partaking. James and Matt if you can make it that would be great :D )
Official request to GWR (Don't know if Andi has done this yet?)
Anything I have overlooked :?:

1. Kevin i believe the Chiltern service leaves Amersham 22.56 so that is very tight but as u say it might not be an issue anyway.

2. I do photographs with a volunteer plus some filming of the day.

3. Train numbers I think everyone should volunteer to check if he need the front or back of a train it can be arranged quite easily if cross platforms and quick changes are needed.

4. official request can been done i just use my claim number if needed.

If we have to leave a car up there may i suggest Chalfont car park then we have the best of both worlds perhaps we both could drive up there early morning leave 1 car and return to hatton Cross perhaps

I will be bringing my photographic equipment for still photos and video recording, as I usually do on any full network. Though with me running along ahead on the transfers, its use may be limited.

If I can have the names everyone partaking then I can design and print off some Witness Statement sheets. You also have the option of submitting a small avatar size photo of yourself so that Joe Public know who is in the group.

Train numbers, I think that if a person needs to hang back to get a certain train number (e.g Victoria Line 67 stock) then it should be one of the faster runners so they can then catch up with the others.

Kevin- can you send me the route over. This is so that I can get support crew (Laxmessh, Roger etc.) in position for us. That is of course if they agree to support us...

This is a Central line train to "Woodford via Hainault"- sadly, not no more!

Thanks Tangy that is good news indeed, it's all starting to come together 8)
I will PM the route in a few minutes, how can I get an avatar size photo to you? Is there any way of doing this other than e-mail?

Andi, that is going to make it a very early start. Instead I will probably leave my car there overnight on Thursday and just jump on a train back to Ashford. Any idea how much it would be to park for over 24 hours at Chalfont?

You can find out precisely on the TfL site, they list all the car park charges there somewhere. It is about £3 a day though, so you will need £6 ish. Take plenty of change!

Just a quick note to say that I am now a definate as I've been given the days surrounding Comic Relief off. Andi, just checking if it's still ok to stay the night(s) there? Also, what's the plan of action for us on the day (before we start) ?
