My Trial Tube Challenge Routing

Adam running this route through the jp consedering a 05.22 start at Walthamstow central whilst not sure of how ur getting from Heathrow t5 - Richmond.? i predict that u be stuck at Upminster unless u can find significant timing savings.

yes which takes an awful long time roughly an hour of ur time just spent on that bus alone it might be quicker for u to get off at feltham and take the train to Richmond

Well, the genernal idea is that I'll be on the 2345 Stansted Airport - Tottenham Hale train, then a night bus to Walthamstow Central (the number escapes me ATM) and then a 5 hour camping stint outside the station.

Neither of my parents drive (which is very helpful ), so the route back from Epping would rely on a bus of current.

But Liverpool Street is the ideal finishing place as then I can get a train back to Stansted Airport and then get a local bus home. (Long live the 24hour 510!)

iI'm scouting around my mates on Facebook looking for someone to attempt the run with, no joy so far

U might want to sweettalk to Mastius Tangius if u starting at Walthamstow central.

Thanks, both catered for on another planned routing. And here it is. Amersham / Chesham area still being a right old pain. Note that buses and line interchanges are not noted and all stations are covered.

Adam - I'd recommend going with Andi for your first challenge. He'll teach you a few things, and you'll get some experience to help you find out what works and what doesn't. It's also difficult to keep yourself motivated if you're on your own - I had a lot of trouble with this during the parks challenge (my time was just shy of 9-hours), so I can't imagine doing it for a full network!

To answer all in one swoop, the 22nd is a Friday. I'm a Year 11 and that GCSE time. Really for me it's over a school hoilday period or not at all. I don't think skipping a day of exams is an option somehow

Perhaps a Saturday attempt wiv missing the bits that have enigineering works might be good for you seeing what works and what doesnt door positions running corridors etc.I resort back to my original plan of thinking then.

Well, for now anyway I'm holding the Tube Challenge back for a good few months just while I get everything sorted out.

Yeah, i'd say passing your GCSEs is somewhat more important than running around the tube.

Maybe if i'd taken my own advice, i'd have a degree
