That would be Epping, like he said.

Re: My Trial Tube Challenge Routing
Well, the genernal idea is that I'll be on the 2345 Stansted Airport - Tottenham Hale train, then a night bus to Walthamstow Central (the number escapes me ATM) and then a 5 hour camping stint outside the station.
Neither of my parents drive (which is very helpful
), so the route back from Epping would rely on a bus of current.
But Liverpool Street is the ideal finishing place as then I can get a train back to Stansted Airport and then get a local bus home. (Long live the 24hour 510!)
iI'm scouting around my mates on Facebook looking for someone to attempt the run with, no joy so far

Re: My Trial Tube Challenge Routing
I've now got a mate interested, but he's up in Tamworth. If anyone else is interested, post here.
I'm now looking into a route starting at Epping and finishing at Liverpool Street for my sake. Then I can get a coach back to the airport, then the bus home.
Right, off to start planning.

Re: My Trial Tube Challenge Routing
Good luck with your route. Do be aware, though, that tailoring a route around what's convenient for you--and I can completely understand why you're doing it--may not produce the best timing. After all, people don't start at Amersham because it's convenient...

Re: My Trial Tube Challenge Routing
Thanks, I can see why most start at Amersham. It's a pain in the neck!
But I don't have usage of a car or any real money as such, which doesn't help my cause much. But I just have to do what I can with it.

Re: My Trial Tube Challenge Routing
Question guys and gals, are the two Hammersmiths (Dist/Picc & Circle/H&C) classed as 1 station, or am I required to vist both?

You must visit both. The same applies to both Paddington stations too.

Re: My Trial Tube Challenge Routing
Your route is coming on well, Adam. I know you said that all the stops were covered, but I couldn't work out where Aldgate was happening - it's one of the stations that stuffs up my route planning sometimes, I know that much!
My only advice would be to do Bayswater inbetween HSK and Wimbledon. It saves you changing stations at Paddington (you have already covered the 'main' Paddington station on your Bakerloo line trip earlier).
Best of luck

Re: My Trial Tube Challenge Routing
Oh, must have taken Aldgate out whilst planning the rest around there.
We'll just have to do Aldgate East - Tower Hill - Aldgate - Aldgate East - Mile End then won't we?

Re: My Trial Tube Challenge Routing
Depending on your route around the Aldgate area it can be quicker to get from one to the other on foot, eg Aldgate -> Aldgate East.waterloo and city wrote:Oh, must have taken Aldgate out whilst planning the rest around there.

Re: My Trial Tube Challenge Routing
Yes, but my sense of direction is non-exsictant around London, so the Tube may be my best and only decent option.
