At Finchley Road, he was raring to board a Metropolitan going in the same direction. We had to explain to him that he really didn't want a Fast Amersham service!Going Underground wrote:We met Amir on a Stanmore terminating Jubilee train as we were approaching Finchley Road. His destination was Stanmore but he was trying to get to Wembley Road station as he had heard you could change again there and get to Stanmore faster. We established that he meant Finchley Road and then back on at Wembley Park which was exactly what we were doing anyway. We took him over to the Met line for a 1 minute wait for a Watford train and when we got off at Wembley Park I noticed he was going to stay on the Met train. I just got him off in time and he kindly donated £5.00 to the cause

Weather forecast is looking rather interesting
Although this is actually for my postcode address at TW15 it may be a fair indication of what could be expected in London

Most fast Amersham trains stop at Wembley Park though - or has that changed recently? It's only the "extra-fast" peak time services which don't stop there.Starkey7 wrote:At Finchley Road, he was raring to board a Metropolitan going in the same direction. Only the peak-time semi-fast and fast services don't stop at Wembley Park. In other words off-peak semi-fast and fast services, and all slow services at any time, do stop there.Root wrote:Most fast Amersham trains stop at Wembley Park though - or has that changed recently?
