You won't get the record anyway, just look at what you are all wearing. I'd just go for leisure attempt as its for charity.
Re: comic relief day 2009
Ok more leisure is the way to go i suppose we can still use my route but incorprate a few buses and more db.

I'd say leisure at the moment, because I'd like to manage all the stations in something under four months

Holder of the slowest recorded 274 attempt: 4 months, 1 day, 9 hours, 17 minutes, 32 seconds.

To be honest with your costumes, it'll be wise to allow mini-toilet-breaks and so on for comfort's sake.
I'd still like to come and help out in the morning; are you going to be in the Harrow and W area then at all?

Andi
I have a couple of decent routes that avoid the Harrow run at the end of the day, that is the only run that is simply not possible as you cannot finish that late on with 3 mins Kenton
Northwick and then 5 mins 30 seconds West
North Harrow....
Nobody mentioned anything else about avoiding any other runs and they should be taken on as normal...
If we are giving up a day of our time to do this me might as well log the times and trains and get witness statements/photos etc.....
It is crazy to go around and not attempt this because you might just get a perfect day where it all drops into place.....

Agreed. With a team of 12 it is hardly going to be difficult to do the few Guinness tasks and you'd be kicking yourself if you got some of the infamous Karahan luck....Going Underground wrote: If we are giving up a day of our time to do this me might as well log the times and trains and get witness statements/photos etc.....

Re: comic relief day 2009
Just a quick question that entered my mind - have you asked TfL for permission to collect money from passengers should they wish to make a donation? I don't know the legality of accepting donations while you are on your attempt (although I doubt anybody would make a big deal about a few of passengers giving you a few quid for charity).
It would be a shame if you couldn't collect any donations while you are on the network for 18 hours... I guess you will get a lot of questions from fellow passengers, and quite a number would ask if they could make a donation. If I met a dozen people dressed as superhearos and villians, I would ask you a couple of questions and offer to make a donation.

TfL says we cannot collect on their services only at stations in the ticket hall area!

Although I think we'd be fine if we are discreet, if we all had big buckets it might attract some unwanted attention but just small collection tins would be fine?
