If anyone is having difficulty getting back from Amersham to Heathrow at the end of challenge, you can take the Met back to HOTH (Harrow-Hill) and then board the N140 down to Heathrow. This option is valid right up until the 0016 departure from Amersham.

This is a Central line train to "Woodford via Hainault"- sadly, not no more!

My route to from teh challenge is as follows:

N26 Walthamstow- Trafalgar Square then N9 Trafalgar Square- Heathrow (hopefully the two connect as the two times I have done it so far the N26 ahas missed the N9 even though it is a timetabled four minute same stop connection. Both routes are every 20 minutes though.

Met from Amersham to HOTH (as per post above) then N18 to GPS and walk to Euston for N73 or stay on the N18 to Traf Sqaure and retrace my steps on the N26.

If you finish on the 2325 or 2355 then you can get a Met back to civilization. However if there are delays then it is quite possible you won't get to Amersham until 0025 or even 0055. So I think you all need some contingency plans unless you want to spend the night at Amersham station!

Maybe it would be better to have an earlier start from Heathrow to give you all a better chance of getting round?

I asked Andi that question and the starting time is as it is for a reason...the Olympia section of the challenge because trains dont start til 7AM (I think...Andi was that the reason?)

To answer that yes it would be gr8 to start on an earlier train but the basics of this route is a perfect ken o mhe direct and hainault either first or after a epping woodford double back near enough perfect loop.Because ken o trains dont leave until a certain time then that is ur answer.

and the first t4 train would have to rely on it being fast unless u want a 13 min delay on the first connection.

Shotgun Andi's other space back to Heathrow!

Jamesthegill - Heathrow Travelodge/walking or bus to Hounslow West or Hatton Cross/Tube then bus, or Andi's car

Right well we have everybody covered how they are going to get there and get back from amersham so that 8).

All u need to do now is decide whether we take a leisurely bus route hardly any running or actually go for the record proper. :?:

Tube Relief was all about getting round for charity and not about setting records so I would say that Comic Relief has to be the same.

I would say go for the recold and try and fit runs in as its more of a challenge andwe will still be raising money for chairty at the same time ! If your going to be out for 17hr+ you might as well go for the recold !
One has lost the game !!!!!
