Hi,
Hope all is well with everyone here.
Just wondering, does anyone else here feel that doing the tube challenge can often by rather therapeutic? I really enjoy doing it.
I often get a real buzz from the feeling of a full network completion. Often when I've been struggling mentally (as I must admit I have been doing recently), it gives a boost to get through the network in a day.
Maybe it's the time to reflect, the sense of achievement, seeing so many different people. I don't know. Still, if you're living close to London and can spare a weekday, plus the £30 Travelcard, it might be a relatively inexpensive form of therapy!
Acknowledge, this post is a bit left-field (Admin: feel free to take down if you feel it's inappropriate), but wanted to see what others thought!

Yes... and no!
There's definitely something relaxing about gently trundling through the countryside at the top of the Met or the eastern parts of the Central Line.
There's a lot of social contact as you meet people on your travels, tell them what you're doing, etc.
But going down the escalators at Battersea Power Station to find the boards saying no train for at least 30 minutes, or being on a train at Morden which isn't going anywhere whilst a stream of empty trains from the sidings pass through the station without stopping, is not therepeutic!
But at the end, when you've overcome all the issues, there's the satisfaction of completing it, though in my case tinged with disappointment that I'd missed out on (then) fastest time by less than six minutes!

I would go as far to say yes and no. Yes when things go right, or you get a connection you didn't expect if you're a few minutes down. For me yes when I hit the Woodford area as I lived in Woodford briefly a few years ago, and became the third generation of my family to live in Woodford Green. When I did my first FNC completion there were some moments that made me feel amazing, ticking off Olympia felt amazing as then I was 99.8% confident I would complete it that day.
When you get hit by delays left right and centre and things fall apart early doors, no!
