Not to sure on the answer to the start and finish yet. We do have some choices to start and finish but at the moment a definate start and finish has not been decided.

Well, that's definitely the first thing to decide then! Think about which of the "end" stations have good connections to others, and which are isolated. The isolated ones make ideal start/finish points. You probably knew all this already, but still... you really should get your route together sooner rather than later.

I respect that you're doing this for charity - I did a charity run myself quite recently and appreciate the numerous difficulties that arise. I'm not going to plan your route for you, but if you come up with something I'll happily proof-read it, so to speak, and give you some suggestions. If you want me to, that is.

Have you also thought about the logistics in getting the challengers to the starting station and back near home again afterwards :?

Is the welcome pack available to general download, or only to those who commit themselves to participation?

I can't say I'll definitely help, but I wouldn't mind a gander at all the info you've compiled so far. It doesn't appear to be available on your website.

Ummm, I had a look at the welcome pack it just mentions that each individual is to organise this themselves.. So there aren't actually any logistics in place to get challengers to the start and home again.... :?

If there are provisions for room sharing etc., at the start and end, then I'll definitely be able to do it... but if not, it's going to be too much of a logistical/cost nightmare.

What's the plan for the day too? Is it everyone for themselves, or are we doing a mass team challenge?

Hello
We are still route planning atm hopefully we will organise some accomodation at the start and end places dependant on the number of people taking part.

If you register your NOT commiting to taking part. There is a section once logged in to confirm whether your taking part or not.

I will be moving the Downloads section to be accessible by all.

Featured on BBC1?

Post by taylorit »

Can anyone confirm that Tube Challenge for BBC Children Need has been featured on BBC1 recently?

I have a couple of people tell me it has in the last 2 weeks on a programme or advertisement on ways to make money for this years BBC children in need and how to get fundraising packs.

I am not aware of this happening but anyone else able to confirm this or seen it?

Matt
