All updated. Al did indeed get his sixth PB in a row from a standing start. How far can he go before he goes slower? Cypto also moves up a couple of places with a PB which puts him into the crowded 24-to-25-minute mark.

I hear that although this is showing 1st April it's not absolutely 100% yet... I will be there at some stage but not on the 1st !!
As it happens, I'm not likely to be there on 1st April either, but I'll have to do it somewhen to get Hampshire done.

No date for it yet, but Peacehaven's going to have a parkrun soon as well.

Update is done.

A PB for Geoff, who goes below 25 minutes, and al is STILL going faster each time he runs. Where will it end? That's seven PBs in a row from a standing start now. Geoff is ahead of crypto in the list because he has a higher AG%.

Nozza and GU got course bests, and Nozza did his 100th run.

We haven't met, so that'll be why. Also, I'm a dirty non-Londoner, so I've only made it as far as Banbury parkrun.

Rutland Water is a beaut. Also, lovely and flat, and today, not too windy.

Fastest time of the year at Bedford and by sheer coincidence it was their 300th run, The Mayor was in attendance, several folk in fancy dress and was a record turn out... :P

Gotta say I love this course, flat all tarmac and shaded...... This could well be my favourite parkrun course yet and would love it as my local :D

Another PB for al - eight in a row now, and he's about to move up another position at this rate.

A question for The Raven, what happened at Whiteley? I would have had a chance to finish ahead of you for the first time ever!

While I am probably not going to be doing parkrun any time soon, I have gone for a couple of runs recently, and I hope to run three or four times each week for the considerable future, in preparation for future challenges. I was pleased yesterday to discover that, despite it being quite sunny and wearing warm clothes, I still managed to run 5 miles (many many times round the block), although I don't have the time (I estimate that it would be about 50 minutes).
Zone 1 Challenge (Olympics 2016): 3:44:31.67 - we were very unlucky indeed!
South London Challenge (Summer 2016): 1:58:40 - going to try again soon!
All Lines Challenge (August 2016): 44:38 - happy with this ... For now!

I was a minute over my PB last week, but I blew past around a dozen people on my final sprint, and the course photographer got this wonderfully flattering picture of me.

My sprint finish photo from Wepre on Saturday wasn't particularly flattering either...

Oh, and I went past Tong on the way to get there.

Two weeks of updates required this time, but I think I've got it all right. If anyone notices something wrong let me know.

Big news of the week - NO PB FOR AL!!! He's hit the wall after eight straight fastest times. But Das makes up for it by going 1:11 faster than his best. And a rare outing for Marc Gawley too.
