Hi there I'm new does any know an Anthony Brown who I heard on BBC Three Counties radio this week. (I listen to every day at work) I believe he is trying to visit all the London Underground stations in the fastest time this week, I thought he might be on this website as you lot seem to do a lot of these challenges. Maybe I will have a go one day myself!

Hi Dick, welcome to the forum.

Just be warned if you're location really is Amersham, many an epic tube challenge has started from there at 5.28am with the start of a stopwatch

Richard Head, if you do live in Amersham (and, indeed, if anyone should trust anyone named Richard Head), editorsfoot has pretty much suggested that you stand in extremely good stead to become a prolific challenger, even more prolific than Ollie ("root"), who resides tantalisingly close in Chesham. Not that he's lazy, but you live so close as not to have to worry about a taxi to the station in the morning!

I'm sure you will attempt a Challenge one day, and you might even be hooked. I hope it's not too early to suggest you go along to the Zone 1 meeting this year for what is essentially a "Tube Challenge Lite". I bet it'll be better than ever (but I won't be there, so it won't. ). Welcome!

I should point out I work in Amersham, & Live in a place called Wendover in Buckinghamshire. I put my location down as Amersham because its my nearest tube station.

I should point out at this stage that when Dr Who says I like horses dick, this is the slang term he uses when refering to Bangers & Mash, which is one of my favourite pub meals.
