Route edited as two bits of info missing....
OK here is a Zone 1 puzzle for you which is like a dot-to-dot puzzle.
Follow this route with a thick marker pen and then rotate the route through 90 degrees anti-clockwise. It may help to photocopy your route onto a plain white piece of paper and look at the image upto the light.
PM me with your answer on what you think the image looks like
OK here is the route:
Start: Regents Park (once its opened!)
Charing Cross
Leicester Sq.
Kings Cross
Moorgate (by H&C/Met/Cir)
Euston
Tottenham Court Road
Liverpool Street
Aldgate
run Aldgate East
Embankment
Elephant & Castle
London Bridge
Waterloo
Vauxhall (by nat rail)
Victoria
Sloane Sq.
Westminster
Green Park
Earls Court
Bayswater
run to Queensway
Bond Street
Baker Street
Paddington
Finish: Euston Sq.
Can you see what it is yet

Which line do I use to get from Kings Cross to Moorgate?
Why do I need to change at South Kensington?
How do I get from Euston to Holborn?
I'm not sure that I can see it.

Yeah, it's not very clear which way we are supposed to go even though we can probably guess.
Looks like a kangaroo doing something on a computer to me ...

The one that's consistent with going to Euston next. Tch, it is supposed to be a puzzle...
Why do I need to change at South Kensington?
Signal failure on the Piccadilly Line, I bet.
How do I get from Euston to Holborn?
I suspect that should be Tottenham Court Road. Someone ought to start a multi-million-pound scientific study into why those stations are so easily confused. (And don't say it's just because the names are printed too close together on the tube map. How are we going to get multi-million-pound funding for that?)
I get the kangaroo too, although it looks to me like it's wearing bell-bottoms and doing the John Travolta pose from Saturday Night Fever.

Kings Cross to Moorgate by H&C/Met or Cir
Euston is to Tottenham Court Road, Holborn was my error...
Change at South Ken due to signal failure on the Pic (thanks Gasman)

Am I supposed to follow the tube lines or draw a straight line between each station?

So it should look like this?
Just how drunk were you, when you looked at this and made a picture?

Besides, I don't like the number of changes. Surely it'd be better to run a bit more?

Yes, this is a poorly thought-out picture.
If you're going to do one of these make sure it conforms to widely-accepted knowledge and shortcuts.
What the hell is it then?!

You can do as many runs as you like... as long as you complete a Z1 and draw a picture as well
This is what it should look like (Dr Who was close)
And obviously (for those who can't see it!) the answer is A Griffin holding a Mace.

OK for those of you with no imagination here is what the Griffin should look like...
Now all it needs is for someone to go out and see how long it would take to do the Griffin

I'd be up for doing the Mace.
