Your once in a monthtime opportunity - join me, the amazing Root, on a tube challenge team in June.
I've got Friday the 22nd of June off work, and plan to do a couple of the minor challenges that day. I'll start around 1000 and do two, or maybe three challenges that could include Z1, the Bottle, All-Lines or the Mouse. And I'll probably still be drunk and deaf from what should be a very loud gig the night before. You know it makes sense.
If you're free that day and want to join me, or even race against me, do come along. Let me know if you're interested and we can discuss a meeting place.

I am working until about 3.30pm on 22nd then heading to the Oval to watch a 20-20 cricket match. This should finish at about 8.30 pm so if you are still about and want to do a "shortish" challenge in the evening a few of us can probably meet up with you...

I think they were about £15.00, got mine in the post already as they are fairly popular matches..... and it's Surrey at the oval

Myself and Steve are going to Kent vs Essex in June and another Essex match at Chelmsford, undecided as to which yet though

My old man is one of the scorers for kent so I get freeby tickets so may take in one game. I'm also going to a test match in the summer, don't know who it is against though!

I knew that! Sometimes hands and brain don't co-operate.
Middlesex is my team, you see, which is why I was interested. But I wouldn't be able to do both, so I'll probably stick to the challenging.

Whilst Going Underground, Ping Pon & K9 are off enjoying the Cricket, myself & Dr Who will be doing one of the smaller challenges, possibly a Z1 or Bottle. We can try and agree something nearer the time but my favoured challenge would be a Z1 to try and get the record off Starkey (he has too many records

)

Yes Starkey has far to many records Z1, Bottle, South of the Thames, Points of the Compass, Mouse.
The only one he hasn't got the full network maybe that's because he does it with us Brown's.

He is also missing the Xmas Park challenge from his illustrious collection (probably because he did that with us as well

)
His record in the 129 snake isn't that great either (slowest time in the only event held so far

)
And finally he doesn't hold the Alphabet Challenge (which I am going to break this coming Friday

)

Fine - I'm happy to do one of those. I hope you're not going to insist on starting from Gloucester Road, or wherever is next on the list.

I'm up for some or all of that, Root. I must say that I'm shocked at people thinking that I'm always going to be breaking records; I just got very lucky with various changes.
And there's no way that I'd do a 275 on my own.

It could be Gloucs Rd or maybe Goodge St., actually I've got a cracking good route for Gloucester Rd., with only 11 changes it could be a record beater.
But seriously I don't mind trying from an easier station if we are looking for a record.
