I have it on good authority that today MAY be the day when we see the 275 bar raised significantly.

Sam and Steve beware ...

I have been given permission by Hakan to update you as his second 275 attempt goes ahead today.

He is currently 20 minutes ahead of his schedule and doing well. More updates as the day goes by and he texts me ...

Be afraid, be very afraid.

If the trains stay OK, this could be the one....

Will be checking to see how it goes through the rest of the day. If anyone is meeting him, pass on my good wishes.

I'm meeting him at Archway this evening as he passes through to High Barnet.

By then he should have a good idea of whether he can do it.

Unfortunately (from Sam and my view), there doesn't appear to have been any delays on the network yet, at least, there wasn't when I had to use it earlier today, and there hasn't been whenever Sam or myself have looked at the status on thetube.com.
So, with a pukka computerised route and the rub of the green on the delay front so far, it does indeed look like this could be the day :(

At least if he does thrash us all, we held the record for some period of time :-)

this is all rather exciting. already he's bounced from ahead, to behind straight back to being ahead of schedule. i'm routing for him. hopefully a nice clean service will mean potentially a good run for the team! but other things can go wrong.... *mentally touches wood*

Crumbs. I've never seen this before: it's still "Good Service on all lines" and it's already 4pm!

seems the luck of the Underground God's are shining on them.

is it okay to ask whether they've completed the Hainault loop yet? because that's one of the longer stretches of route.

Also is it a Amersham to Heathrow route?
