There is now just a week to go until we launch the winter Tube Olympics for 2026.

To ease you into the games for event 1, we have a Tramlink challenge. This will be held on Tuesday 10th February 2026.

For this challenge all you need to do is to visit all 39 Tramlink stations in the fastest time using standard Tramlink Challenge rules as can be read here: www.explorerticket.co.uk/tubechallenge/tramrules.htm

There is no fixed start, you may commence your challenge at any Tramlink station you desire between 17:30 and 18:30. You have ONE attempt, once you have started your stopwatch and departed, that's it. There is no going back and starting again.

Post challenge head to The George (Wetherspoons), George Street, Central Croydon. This is very close to the tram station of the same name or message me your time / route if you are unable to declare in person.

Competitors please make yourself known.

I think it's unlikely I'll be doing this one as it would be a very late return to Reading and TBH I don't particularly enjoy doing above ground Challenges in the dark!

However, I've just looked on Explorer Ticket to see what my PB is for the Tramlink Challenge and - I'm not on there!

I know I've done it at least once - as part of the Triple Crown Challenge on 12/8/2017.

A search of the Forum shows I completed in 1:56:20. The other Triple Crown competitors are on there, but I'm not!

I know it's a bit late, but please can my time be added, Tangy?

Many thanks

Well all I can say on that it was a total disaster starting off on a Beckenham j with a 8 min wait for an elmers end behind thought have enough time. But no along with tangy we had basically the same route. Heading to Beckenham junction he decided to get the train to birkbeck whilst I thought I can run whole in the 16 mins I should have had for 19:26.

Imagine my utter disgusting after such a good 13 minute run only to see a 22min wait on the board. Well after that it was just make sure only 1 pint in the george in order to get back home. Daz is ****** and probably wont make it back and its his birthday.

To come joint 2nd with a 22min wait is something I didn't expect. If anybody is struggling to get accommodation for the next event I have planned both.
