As the 2023/24 season comes to a conclusion, it is time to think about the upcoming 2024/25 season starting in September.

Before I confirm dates for each individual round, if there are there any dates that you know you CANNOT attend due to clashes with sporting fixtures or booked holidays then please speak up.

I will do my best to schedule rounds with the minimum amount of clashes but this isn't guaranteed.

Again you need to confirm the dates for all 6 rounds otherwise its just a londoners championship!

My diary for the next 12 months is surprisingly empty. Only dates I can't do are:

01/02/25
22/02/25

There's a few other things in there but I haven't committed to them yet and I'd rather be challenging.

The last couple of years for me have been a bit of a disaster in terms of attendance for me, mainly due to working shifts and a number of other commitments. However, I am looking to attend some events next year so my availability is as follows (I've done the weekends around the "classic" Random 15 dates) -

Sat 31st May 25 - available (subject to annual leave request)

The Saturdays when I'm definitely / very likely not available, because I'll race national-level or international-level orienteering races, are:

24/8 (TrailO WRE in Hel)
14/9 (London City Race)
21/9 (TrailO WRE in Gothenburg)
12/10 (British TrailO Championships)
26/10 (Dartford UK Urban League)
2/11 (Salisbury Urban Race)
25/1 (Concorde Chase Urban)

Also, I may not be available on the following weekends due to other commitments as well:
17/8 (my partner's Channel swim)
28/9 (my Channel relay swim)
7/9, 2/11, 9/11 (other TrailO WRE races on the international calendar which I haven't decided to do or not)

I think the opposite. The dates should only be confirmed closer in time when the commitments of the regulars become clear.

the main reason why people wont become regulars you just proved my point you should change it to londoners championship!

Plenty of people from outside London manage to attend without issues. Of course Andi wouldn't know that, because he never turns up even when the dates are announced with plenty of notice.

MY POINT IS THE DATES are not announced with plenty of notice i made this pretty clear if u announce the dates well in advance and i mean not 2 weeks before then people outside of london maybe could attend its not knocking it when its clear that POINT IS MADE!

The season starts in September. That's a month away, not two weeks. Secondly, people are actively discussing potential dates without complaining about it.
