It appears to be on a double track line (or maybe single track with a passing place).

And I think I've managed to rule out most places west of Cardiff....

Just guess every station in Wales that's over 59 miles from Saundersfoot, and eventually you'll bring this torturous quiz to an end

I will keep it open for another couple of days, in case anyone else wants to guess. I'm particularly keen to hear from anyone who visits Saundersfoot beach...

Afterwards I have a few more in the pipeline, if folks are interested. Hopefully they will be slightly less tortuous, and potentially more interesting and educational. (That should keep the site moderators happy! )

I have visited Saundersfoot beach on numerous occasions as I really do have relatives down that way! (Though I haven't been down there for over a year for obvious reasons).

Until the 1930s a railway line ran along the back of the beach.

Though I'm intrigued as to why you chose it to be the datum point!
