Mountain Top Challenge

I quite like to think up new challenges, so how about this, the 'Mountain Top Challenge', where you visit all LU, DLR, LO and TfL Rail Stations with the words high, up, or any other high-related words in them. This is hard, as it has lots of far-out stations (High Barnet, Upminster). Anyone want to try it out?

That is a brilliant idea and I like it a lot.
Do we have to count STAR Lane
I think it will take 13 hours and 7 minutes.

What stations have you included? I was going to make a list but was debating over a few (Star Lane, indecently, was one of them!).

Also HIGHgate and GoldHAWK Road.
And perhaps HEATHROW because of the planes.
And fAIRlop
Now I'm thinking 14 hours and 32 minutes.

I had Highgate all along. What about London City Airport, like Heathrow, or East/West FINCHLEY Central/Road (Quick way of writing the names). Or even Gatwick by Oyster!
Anyway, which stations did you have?!

Also there is a hill in New Zealand called Mount Perivale, so I think that counts.
A better route would be only 12 hours 58 minutes.

That does seem ridiculous, 12 hours of your day wasted to visit a load of station with high-related words in them Still, that's what comes of being a Tube Geek!

It's never a waste of time on the tube! Plus it was a brilliant idea.
There should also be a challenge for things that are low down, like StockWELL
I think this would take only 7 hours and 26 minutes.

That is true!

Thanks!
Also, I agree with the low down one, but what other stations?

Everyone will want to try these challenges, that's for sure
Other stations are DOWN Street and NewBURY Park.
Which means 8 hours and 36 minutes is more likely.

Down Street?! Surely current
and disused would be confusing!
And plus, it's called Little Waitrose now!

I've just noticed that HIGH-BURY and Islington would be in both challenges.
So that would save some time.

Oh yes. You could either a)start there for one and end there for another, so you just carry on, or b) set up a high and low challenge, where you do the stations from both
at the same time! We should show this to tangy!

I think you should have to do all the high ones first and then the low ones afterwards, with Highbury & Islington in the middle.
You should call it the River Deep Mountain High Challenge.
I think it would be possible in a day.

Night Tube would definitely help this challenge!
