It officially opened yesterday, but passenger services started running the day before - hence my opening post, less than an hour after the first train.

Just as a matter of interest, the Project Mapping map appears to show the line from Oxford Parkway into Oxford as open, although it's not planned to open until next spring. Is this an error or are they just being forward-looking?

That section of the line is not new. So technically it is an existing line that is temporarily closed for engineering works, rather than a new line that is under construction.
