Did this happen in 1939?
All London buses: 23 hours 25 minutes (with Adham, David, Josh and Tangy)

Are you either Joseph Duddington or Thomas Bray, in the cab of the Mallard which is moving at a world record speed, just south of Grantham on the ECML on 3rd July 1938 and feeling either triumphant, happy or something along those lines?

I know that. I just didn't want to ask Joseph Duddington, get it wrong, then everyone discards the Mallard idea and Thomas Bray is announced at the very end.

Well I think The Orange One should take the credit for this one in any case. But just to put belt and braces on it:
Are you Joseph Duddington, in the cab of the Mallard which is moving at a world record speed, just south of Grantham on the ECML on 3rd July 1938 and feeling either triumphant, happy or something along those lines?

Yes! Got it in 16 questions!GuyBarry wrote:Are you Joseph Duddington, in the cab of the Mallard which is moving at a world record speed, just south of Grantham on the ECML on 3rd July 1938 and feeling either triumphant, happy or something along those lines?
I guess that's how he was feeling anyway, 'to a reasonable approximation' (as asked in the initial question.)
I think The Orange One should take 99% of the credit for this one though. Well done! Glad we got it done before I go away tomorrow.
Next! Who's gonna take it - GB or TOO?

Re: Where, When, Who and How am I?
Oh, definitely The Orange One - I had absolutely no idea about the Mallard and was nowhere near. And I messed it up by asking irrelevant questions about the date
I wonder if he's going to add yet another question word? "Why am I" could be interesting

I already have a 'six-question' version I'm working on... but can't do it just yet!
