There was no such station until you corrected your spelling, I should point out.

I didn't realise stations people refer to cease to exist during the period that a typographical error remains.

Let's say I was talking about Par station, but I mis-spelt it "ar", and my computer capitalised the "a" so that it read "Ar".

Without any other clue to its identity, would you know which station I meant with any certainty?

Yes, it can't find anything, so it corrects it for you:

So it's still wrong.

Of course it is missing an N, but that is hardly significant compared to the lack of common sense applied to the situation!
