Whats everyones favourite tube station?
Mine has to be Pimlico or Mornington Crescent just on the name alone.

I found this from several years ago in which Kew Gardens won the competition! That might have been down to the pub just outside though.
I'd still say Epping my favourite though. On tube-challenges that whole part of the central line feels very relaxing.

I quite like Ealing Broadway. Even though several of my GWR attempts have died there.

Re: Whats everyones favourite tube station?
Hmm. Some tube stations and why I like 'em.
Heathrow Terminal 4. The starting point of all my FNCs to date. It's also just got a nice quaint cozy feel, with just the one platform.
Kensington (Olympia). So much of a pain, yet my local station, 57 miles away, has a direct rail service. Also the starting place of my first R15.
Greenford. I like the oddness of the NR platform. Also the start of one of my more bizarre/clever gambits.
Hanger Lane. (Park Royal). Probably my most frequented run, and also probably the longest wait... over half an hour when the central line was messed up. The nice lady in the ticket counter was helpful too.
Not a tube station... but Tower Gateway has twice denied me of (joint in one occasion) first place, with a train just departing as I go up the escalators.
Turnpike Lane provided one of the most amusing incidents, as Raven will know. We both missed the train... but the doors open again and he manages to dive in. I don't, and I think 'I can't believe it'. Glen pulls faces. The doors then open a second time, much to my delight.
The only stations that mean nothing really are the ones I have only ever passed through.

Re: Whats everyones favourite tube station?
I have a few as well:
West Ruislip: Seen a few Class 20s up there back in 2012, and just like the station in general
Becontree: Absolutely no idea why I like this station but I just gravitate towards that station (and the area, haha!)
Upminster: 0 minuters, and reasons why I'm happy Class 357s exist
Arsenal: Obvious reasons
Leyton: Not so obvious reasons (unless you know me well)

Some of my favourites:
Theydon Bois: Such a remote station - when there isn't a train passing through, it's quite peaceful. I don't like Epping anywhere near as much.
Goodge Street: Dashing up the stairs here while people queue for the lift, giving me funny looks. Ditto for Lancaster Gate.
Chiswick Park: Gorgeous. Ditto for Canada Water.
Bank/Monument: I'm quite fond of the DLR ascent.
Embankment: Mind the Gap!
Very bad memories of Royal Oak, Watford, Mile End and King's Cross.

All London buses: 23 hours 25 minutes (with Adham, David, Josh and Tangy)
Holds some alternative challenge records. Not sure which ones.
