1) Tube-surf completion: navigate the system without ever sitting down or grasping anything.

2) Tube driver challenge: travel on a train driven by every driver working on a particular day; collect signatures.

3) Lone Wolf challenge: visit each station, being the only traveller in one's carriage at all times.

4) Ratrun challenge: pass through all connecting tunnels, walkways etc in a given station in the shortest period of time.

5) Business-as-usual challenge: completion with the highest proportion of stations visited by replacement bus

6) The Global Gamut: fastest completion of all the world's subway systems

7) ODD (Oppositional Defiant Disorder) challenge: feet must be placed on opposite seat at all times, extra points if this prevents pregnant women or old men from sitting down; kudos if sunglasses are worn and iPod is at maximum volume. Points doubled if one refuses to hand over proof of completion on completion.

8 The LULothario challenge: collect as many phone numbers from members of the opposite sex as possible. Score = stations visited x numbers gained.

I did that on the Waterloo and City line six years ago, and managed the whole one-way journey thing without holding onto anything.

Do I win a prize?

I've also done the "The Drain" surf ride on my only trip on the W+C line. Despite the strange looks from the only other passenger.

7) Would not be undertaken due to our utmost respect of the network, tube stock, fellow passengers etc...

I agree - number 7 is a very silly idea.

Tube surfing.. hey that's my forte!

I mastered the whole Victoria Line (on the 67 stock) Tube surfing, still need to refine the 09 stock. I find the sub surface lines are the least tube surfable due to the taller coaches thus creating more body roll/throw when moving along.
