Oh yes, I know it. But I'm sticking to my policy of not entering these, I'm quite happy with feeling smug at my own geeky memory (although this one doesn't really have a lot to do with that)

The station was Rickmansworth, taken from a slightly different angle to Tangy's picture in Photo Quiz 13.14 not so long ago.

I thought that taking a picture of a station traditionally passed through when dark might throw some people off.

Doesnt look that dark to me with a clear sky overhead.?

But that's what he means. Normally we pass Rickmansworth in the dark. So he took a picture of it in the daytime, hoping that we wouldn't recognise it.

But THEY did!

I seem to remember that somebody tried the same rouse with Amersham in a previous PQ...

No-one really starts at Amersham or Chesham anyway. It is just a cunning ruse to throw others off the scent.
