Forum Problems
All,
Apologies for the forum problems over the past 24 hours.
This has occured because we have had to upgrade:
a) The forum software
b) The version of php we are using from v4 to v5
c) The version of mysql we are using from v4 to v5.
An unexpected error occured during the upgrade. The result of which has meant that the site has had to be completely rebuilt using the backups taken yesterday lunchtime prior to the upgrades commencing.
Certain minor niggles remain such as some smilie icons missing - these should be sorted soon.
Regards
Chris

No problem, Chris. But could you explain what's changed, from a user's perspective?moley wrote:Apologies for the forum problems over the past 24 hours.

Re: Forum Problems
Something strange is going on. I just tried to log out and got an error message
"You were not logged out, as the request did not match your session. Please contact the board administrator if you continue to experience problems."
I then tried again and it seemed to log me out but it still showed my name as logged in.

All the topics say Tubeguru was the last poster, which is clearly not the case. (Every topic)

Re: Forum Problems
Ok Chaps, I have cleared the sessions table which should solve the problem.
As for the tubeguru being the last to past on every topic - it's not what I'm seeing. Can someone post a pic.
Do post if problems are still occuring.

Re: Forum Problems
I've now lost the "View new posts" and "View unread posts" (etc) links from the top of the forum layout. They used to be under the "User control panel (X new messages)" bit, and they were very useful!
