Where Am I? Quiz 18 (19 Guesses)

Post by al »

You have now got nine correct in a row, so if we are to implement Tubeguru's suggestion straight off then you only have eleven guesses instead of the usual twenty.

I am now hiding - guess away :D

EDIT: Title changed and number of guesses allowed increased to nineteen

I will be a little greedy and ask two questions:

Do timetabled South West Trains services stop at your station?

Are you in a prime-numbered zone?

Can you clarify this one please? I seem to remember a debate on an earlier quiz about this, and am not sure what the result was (if one was ever agreed on!)

Hang on, you're only allowing eleven questions? I figured we'd start from nineteen and work down from there. PS: It wasn't Tubeguru's suggestion :!:

I was waiting for someone to query that! Go for nineteen if you're that scared

I propose that if we can get it within eleven then we'll stick with it, if not, we'll go to nineteen :P

Yes, of course: are you in zones 2, 3, 5 or 7?

(Not a question concerning Al's location: What was the debate about?)

Yes (3)

The query surrounded whether 1 was a prime number or not

I was hoping we could start at 20, and you haven't put the number of questions in brackets in the title.

Are there 10 or more stations in the grid square in which your station is located?

(Only count a station as in a square if it's tick mark or blob is (even partially) inside, ignore the labels)

Fair enough, but there have been enough quizzes with 20 available guesses now, so I will stick with 19 guesses as the maximum
