The Tube Challenge Bandwagon

OK, following on from the earlier Zone 1 Challenge and Tube Relief, how many people who have not done a full proper tube run are now considering going for the world record?

Come on, own up :-)

I was already considering going for a world record before!

<Monty Python> I confess! </Monty Python>

Doing Tube Relief served merely to whet my appetite (though perhaps we should've been more proactive in our promotion of the cause ion the day) for doing "it" for real, as it were.

Staying in Beaconsfield Old Town (that's the bit up by the A40), rather than Amersham, the night before was definitely worthwhile (and cheaper, even taking into account the £10 cab fare, as the room was £39.95 for the night and we got three people in there).

Now I just need to work out a route to link London Bridge and Chiswick Park, via everywhere else, in the necessary amount of time for the finish ;)

Cheers,

Barry

Hmmm... Alan did suggest that we gave it a go with a slightly tweaked version of the route I used. I'm thinking about it...

Yep, my appetite for world record breaking has been well and truly wet.

Hold on, what zone 1 challenge? Have I missed something?

Well I'd like to attempt it but I'm under contract to the current world record holders as their support guy so until they retire........ ;-)

(or something)

Surely no one's going to do it until T5 appears though, right?
Oh, ye of little faith..

Well given the current "closure" of T4, I think that anyone getting anywhere near the record deserves a medal ;)

Cheers,

Barry

Been planning and preparing for over a year. Finally going for my own attempt in just over a month. (Starting where I want this time Geoff!)

As I understand it, T4's likely to reopen first; and if there's any service on the Jubilee Line when that happens...

I don't think it has been confirmed when the T4 loop will reopen yet.
