Is that the old R stock I see there?

I bet you didn't take this picture!

Given that they were withdrawn a year before I was born, you're onto a fairly safe bet there ;)

Is this the start of a worrying trend of putting poorly-Photoshopped false names on roundels in the photos?

Not for me, this is just a quick replacement for the planned 7.09 picture I had. Back to Gills connections after this one.

Could I request that this "Gills connection" thing is dropped, as some of us have no interest in football, let alone the "Gulls" and so may struggle to care enough to investigate the link.

Just a grumpy suggestion. Carry on.

Well the quiz has more to do with trains than football.

I quite like the way James has made an attempt at trying to put the writing in perspective.

Bear in mind the double bluff. As "Mansion House" has been written in the photo I feel I can discuss this openly. One of my first thoughts was that this was Mansion House station but I dismissed it because he had put "Mansion House" in the picture. But what if it IS Mansion House?

A valid point, and I'm glad somebody brought it up, as I had guessed that you lot were intelligent enough to suspect a double bluff, and so expect a lot of wrong answers accordingly

Oh, crap! I'm an "intelligent" idiot...

... unless this is a triple bluff! :?

The station was, as it says in the picture, Mansion House - albeit a while ago.

Those with a west wing for the servant's quarters:
Edgemaster
barrykas
Going Underground
Sam
jbom1
mps247
scrxisi
editorsfoot

And those in a tower block:
garion24wales (Gloucester Road
Starkey7 (Hammersmith)
uefacup81 (Hammersmith D&P)
tubeguru (Tower Hill - this was before tubeguru posted about the possible double bluff)

This week's picture was taken by Steve White2008 and can be found here.
