My girlfriend Ann will also be taking part in this challenge; we'd like to team up with at least one Brown for the event!

Definitely will be hoping for a sub-45 time, i don't think anything more will win. Really i'm actually hoping for sub-40 for the second time, and who knows, if we're really lucky with service we might better the current record!

I don't think anyone is going to beat the current record, ever.

The results of the first event are as follows:
1st - 42:04 Kevin & Ryan Brown, Ann Howell & John Stark
2nd - 46:11 Antony & Phil Brown
3rd - 51:24 Steve Karahan, Matt Nunn & Matt Scrivin.
A fun evening was had by all. The Browns & Ann & John met up at Clapham Junction before heading up to Farringdon for the start. We were all quite late and didn't get going until 19:20. Whilst waiting for the perfect start at Farringdon, Matt, Matt & Steve turned up to start another attempt, in total they made 5 attempts aborting 4 and making just one succesful run. The other two teams had two runs only with the winners getting their best time on their second run.

It's a shame that so few teams are taking part. I hope there are more involved in the full network challenge. Perhaps it'd be an idea for the gigantic Brown/Starkey/(Brabbins?) team to split up a bit, so that there is more competition, and between us there is more chance of someone getting the record.
