For the Daggers, the door position will be the very front of the train, left hand side if you are on an Upminster service, right hand side if you are on a Dagenham East terminating service.
To get there, simply run up the stairs, turn left out of the station, then Victoria Road is either the 4th or the 5th road on the left (I think it may be the 5th). Run to the end of the road, and there you are at the ground.
Hope this helps :)

I don't think we can research the door positions until you have checked the route in reverse to see if this works.......
I guess it depends on how that pans out and also what is the easiest starting ground for most of those that are coming on the day to get too :?:
It might not be worth re-writing the whole schedule for a "might be" but appreciate the offer anyway.... :D

It has all been sorted with security at Tottenham now, all I need to do is email the charity liason officer in the press office with the details of timings and numbers of people for her to arrange with security to be there. She did say it was more likely security would be there at earlier times in the day. Hopefully this can all be arranged by the end of next week.

OK, I think the route in reverse works equally well.
So here are the approx timings of the route starting from Barnet:

0715 BARNET (need to leave New Barnet by 0747)
0810 ARSENAL
0900 SPURS
1020 LEYTON ORIENT
1150 DAGENHAM & REDBRIDGE
1230 WEST HAM
1330 CHARLTON
1425 MILLWALL (after this we can take either a Norwood Jct or Thornton Heath service)
1525 CRYSTAL PALACE
1615 CHELSEA
1645 FULHAM
1740 BRENTFORD (bus to Ealing Broadway & Central line to White City)
1845 QPR
2010 WATFORD

This route still allows 15 minutes kick about at each ground, I'm really hoping that we get ahead of schedule.

For all those attending the challenge please can you confirm what club shirt you are planning to wear, I believe that we have the current clubs so far:

Soup Dragon = ARSENAL
Ping Pon = WATFORD
Dr Who = PORTSMOUTH
Going U. = WEST HAM or CELTIC?
One day I shall return!

Gotta luv it, still get to Millwall near kick off time......

OK I will almost certainly be wearing both shirts on the day, will put a spare in the rucksack to change into depending on exactly where we are at what time....

Not sure if The Dr has a pompey shirt?

For West Ham the door position is going to be rear of carriage six left hand side.....

What grounds have NOT been contacted yet by anyone and I will try and get in touch with them....

Is the meeting Place Barnet FC at 07:15?

Finally I have sorted out the football for the day, all I need to do is find a new bladder and lace it up

So if the route in reverse works equally well is it ok to confirm to Tottenham that we will be at the ground at approximately 9am? It is also likely that we won't be late to Tottenham seeing as we would only of been travelling 2 hours as opposed to around 10 hours.

Hey I'm still planning to try and make it on the day. I of course will be sporting my Gillingham club shirt. I'll also be able to add one more to that list when i get home at the end of the day at Fratton Park :P

Hi Steven, yes I think we will go for the reverse route and that should guarantee we get to Tottenham around 9am. It will be good fun wearing my Arsenal shirt at Spurs!

Kevin, so far I believe Andi (Mr Finland) & Steven Karahan have contacted a few clubs between them. If you can liaise with Andi & Steven to see who has been contacted so far. As you know I'm off to NZ tonight so will leave it with you to follow up on clubs that we still need to contact. Darren (fellow NZ employee) might also take part and if so he can contact Fulham for us.

I suggest we meet at Barnet FC at 07:00, this will allow us a 15 minute warm up before we start officially. Once we are confident of our football skills we can start the clock.

Most importantly we need people to sign up to register with Sport Relief and starting raising some dosh! http://www.mysportrelief.com/footballchallenge
